Select the "Sign in" button on the top right of the screen. The following screen will appear:
Click on "New Member" if you do not have a login to create an account. If you have a login, enter your email and password.
Use the Keyword and Location search to conduct searches of all available State of Florida vacancies. To find the Statewide Correctional Officer vacancy, search "Correctional Officer Statewide" in the keyword search and it should be the first result.To find a Correctional Probation Officer vacancy, search "Correctional Probation Officer" in the keyword search.
Once you have conducted a search, you can define your search criteria for the various fields by using the "Job Title," "Location," "MM/DD/YYYY," and "Career Category." Once you have defined your criteria, select the "Filter" button to the right. A vacancy listing will appear.
Click on the title of the vacancy you would like to view to obtain more information about the position.
To apply for the position on line, click "Apply Now" located at the top or bottom of the screen.
You will have the option of uploading your resume and editing your application profile before submitting.
Applications for all positions must be submitted directly to People First online no later than 11:59 p.m. on the closing date.
